Mines Little Theater has two performances today: Almost, Maine at 2PM is a series of skits about falling in and out of love. The play is set in the small northern town of Almost, Maine. Flowers for Algernon at 7PM tells the story of a mentally challenged woman who undergoes a surgery that is intended to make her smarter. Both performances will take place in Bunker Auditorium, 924 16th Street (map). Tickets are $7.00 for students and $10.00 for non-students or faculty.
Bob’s Atomic Burgers is having a fund-raiser today to help high school and middle school kids go to Snow Camp and Summer Camp. Delicious Fall baked goods will also be available. All donations are tax deductible. Bob’s is open from 11AM-8PM today, so stop by for a juicy burger and support the kids!
Tomorrow afternoon from 5:30-6:30, the Library will host a CoderDoJo for ages 7-17. Do you like to tinker, invent and reminagine things? Visit our CoderDojo where you can learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment. Bring your own laptop if you have one. Offered Monthly. Limit of 20 participants.
