The Lookout Mountain Nature Center is hosting a Spring Storytelling and Walk today from 12-1:30. Listen to a fascinating story about nature, place, or wildlife. Then head out onto the trails to explore the preserve at Lookout Mountain Nature Center and create your own nature story. Suitable for ages 6 yrs+ with an adult. The walk will be on easy trails, 1/2 – 1 mile. Please leave pets at home.
The Quilt Museum is having Sunday at the Museum today from 2-4PM. The topic is Mike’s Magical Miniatures. Mike Klicek’s lecture will cover his introduction to quilting. His influences include Dan Burke and George Siciliano. He’ll be showing 75 quilts, 60 which are miniatures. His mini quilts contain over 1,000 pieces in a 12 inch square.
