The Jefferson Symphony will present “An Afternoon at the Opera” today at the Green Center (924 16th Street) this afternoon at 3. Guest Artist Kara Guggenmos, mezzo soprano joins the JSO for a performance of Richard Strauss’ Four Last Songs and Der Rosenkavalier as well as Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde Prelude and Liebestod and the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.
