Come downtown tonight to enjoy a carriage ride between 5 and 7PM. I recently checked to see what a carriage ride in downtown Denver costs, and guess what? A 15-20 minute ride around Larimer Square costs $130! Golden’s carriage rides are FREE, thanks to sponsorships by the Downtown Development Authority and generous Golden resident Michael Mason. The rides start on 12th Street, just west of Washington Avenue.
The Downtown Golden Merchants are staying open till 8PM, and they’re offering special samples and entertainment. See today’s Golden Business News (on the Goldentoday home page) for the run-down.
Of course, there are 40 restaurants in downtown Golden, so you should certainly stay for dinner, and if you haven’t seen District Merchants at Miners Alley Playhouse yet, get tickets for that! The performance starts at 7:30.
This is all true tomorrow night too, so if you’re too tired to go out tonight, do it Saturday night instead!
