4-5PM Dia de los Muertos: Sugar Skulls / Calaveras de Azúcar at the Library – Celebrate Mexico’s Day of the Dead holiday, joyfully honoring friends and family who have passed away and supporting their spiritual journey. Learn about the significance of the sugar skull as you make your very own to take home. Bilingual presentation by Museo de las Americas.


5:30-9:30PM Golden-based companies Powder7 and Icelantic Skis are hosting a Launch of Winter program tonight at the Buffalo Rose. Join us for an evening of stoke, ski films, raffles, and a concert by Heavy Diamond Ring! Lace up your dancin’ shoes and welcome winter with us! This is an all ages event. This is a FREE event! All raffles and donation proceeds will support Protect Our Winters.

6-7PM Nature Writing Book Club at the American Alpine Club Library in the Mountaineering Center (map) Pack Animal is partnering up with the American Alpine Club Library and the West Denver chapter of Trout Unlimited for a monthly nature writing book club!

6PM The Sustainability Board meets tonight in City Council Chambers. They will consider what they learned during the October 9th Community Event for prioritizing the City’s sustainability projects. They will also discuss problems and opportunities for downtown recycling. They will look for ways to disseminate interest and responsibility for sustainability throughout the City government.
