Tonight is the Golden Bicycle Cruise. The theme is “mountaineering,” so don your hiking boots. The Cruise starts at the Farmer’s Market parking lot just west of the library on 10th and Illinois. There will be prize drawings (including a cruiser bike!) for kids before the ride.
At 7:00, the group will head west on the bike path cross the Hwy 6 overpass, and ride to New Loveland Mine Park. They’ll rest there for 10-15 minutes. then ride back via Rubey Road to Iowa Street to Ford Street, through Vanover Park, and along the Creek Path back to the library. There, they will have live music and beer until 9:30, and prize drawings for the adults at 9.
Colorado School of Mines starts classes today.
