Foothills Art Center – Foot x Foot
Art students from Jefferson County Public Schools took a “big idea” and from that created works that are one foot by one foot. These pieces, along with the idea that inspired the work, will be on display in the Community Gallery through December 27, starting today.
Golden High School – Student Art Sale
Art students from photography, ceramics, jewelry, drawing, and painting classes at Golden High School will be selling their pieces at the Art Department’s first annual Holiday Student Art Sale this afternoon. Sponsored by the Golden Rotary Foundation, 10% of every sale will go towards the GHS Backpack Program. Artwork will be available for purchase in the Cafeteria after school at 2:30 until 7:00 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity to buy unique gifts created locally by very talented young artists while supporting a great community cause.
