I always liked this floral display in the little park at the north end of South Golden Road (map). It disappeared in about 2015, when the City re-built the street.

It was fun to encounter this photo from the July 4, 1989 Golden Transcript, showing the original installation of that sign.
P.S. I also liked Radio Shack.
