The Railroad Museum is celebrating the 135th birthday of one of their steam locomotives today.  You can Catch a ride behind D&RGW Steam Locomotive No. 346 in passenger cars from different eras in Colorado railroad history! Rides operate 10:00AM to 4:00PM.  Ride Tickets: Adults (16+) $4, Children (2-15) $2. Museum members receive $1 discount per ticket.


This is “Homesteaders Day” at the Clear Creek History Park.  Experience 19th century homesteading, explore the historic cabins, try woodstove cooking, learn about blacksmithing, and take a lesson at the schoolhouse.  This event is free!

Ladies have you ever been curious about what it’s like to drive on a race track? Have a little inner “Danica Patrick” wishing to be set free? This is your golden opportunity! Please join us for this low pressure, high excitement Driver’s Education Track event designed for Ladies only.  It is the perfect opportunity to learn to drive on the race track in a very controlled environment with other women just like you.  We will run a separate faster group to accommodated our experienced drivers too.

Event Registration fees: $95.00 (includes lunch and a commemorative tank top).  Registration starts at 7AM at the Colorado State Patrol Track on South Table Mountain (map).  Learn more….
