Top o’ the morning to you! You might want to wear green today, to avoid being pinched.
You can safely assume that most of the bars and restaurants will be doing something St. Patrick-y, generally involving green beer or Irish whiskey. These are the events that I know about:
Golden Moon Speakeasy – live music all evening
Holidaily Brewing Company – releasing a new red ale
Blue Canyon Underground – unlimited green Coors for $17
Ace Hi – Green beer pitchers for $5 and shots of Irish whiskey for $4
Briarwood Inn – serving an Irish menu for $48/person
Barrels & Bottles – serving Ruben sandwiches, Irish Red, & lots of other beers
Buffalo Rose – live music on the patio 4-8:30 and main stage 8:30-11
Golden Hotel – Clear Creek Jazz Quartet, 6-9
Mountaineering Museum – Thirsty Thursday, 5:30-8:30
Golden City Brewery – Irish food, black & tans, green beer, music by Mulligan Stew, noon-7:30
Or for those, like myself, who really know how to have fun, you can watch City Council in person, on cable, or through the City website starting at 6:30.
