The library is getting into the Halloween spirit in earnest this week. This afternoon at 1PM, they’re having “Book vs. Screen,” featuring Stephen King’s The Shining. They’ll watch the movie, then discuss which details were better in the book and which were superior in the movie! Light snacks will be provided.
Tomorrow from 4-6 they’re hosting FamilyLab: Getting Ready for Halloween. Halloween can be scary if you’re not ready. Learn the “tricks” and be “treated” to great ideas. A costume swap, Halloween make-up tips, easy costume creations and DIY treat bags made with t-shirts offer an afternoon of fun. We’ll have a few t-shirts on hand, but feel free to bring your own. And don’t forget the pumpkin decorating. It’s all about Halloween and we look forward to seeing you.
