The Golden Investment Task Forum meets tonight at 6PM in City Council Chambers. This is the group that’s reviewing the city’s list of outstanding “wants” and deciding whether we really want them and if so, how we’ll pay for them. One option they’re considering is using “Certificates of Participation,” since they allow a city to take on debt without requiring that citizens vote to approve it.
