This group was started to meet other people interested in data science to get together in the Golden area to work on data science projects and/or classes. After that, for a complete contrast, you can head down the hill to the Mopar Party from 6-10. Washington Avenue will be closed for a big party to celebrate the opening of the Mile High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Raceway.
Alternatively, there will be a lecture at the Golden History Center from 6-8 on Georgetown’s Miners and Moguls. The Pike’s Peak Gold Rush made this town. Later, it was called the “Silver Queen of Colorado.” It’s now a popular tourist stop with a loop railway. Georgetown has worn many hats!
