It’s summer and time to enjoy Colorado’s great outdoors with Camp GO! Bring the family and learn outdoor safety tips while building skills for a fun and adventurous summer. Learn to read a compass and trail signs, evaluate weather conditions, fire safety, and how to be a steward of nature. This program is presented in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service and Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl join the fun!
The Historic Preservation Board will meet tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They will consider an application requesting Historic Site Designation for the Piggly Wiggly site, located at 807 13th Street. This building, which contains Abeyas and the Faith Tattoo Parlor, has been undergoing a big remodeling. Learn more….
Tomorrow from 10AM-1PM, representatives from the Jeffco School district will have a hiring event at the American Job Center, Laramie Building, 3500 Illinois Street (map).
