Golden High School will perform The Wizard of Oz Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, and Saturday at 2PM. This version of the play is based on the 1939 movie, so you can expect to hear your favorite songs from that production. The high school always does a good job with their plays–you should go! Lest you be alarmed–the Golden Fire Department will be burning a house tonight in the 8th & 9th Street Historic District. The owners planned to demolish it and build something new, so they offered it to the Fire Department as a training exercise. The firefighters will be gathered at the fire station at 6:30, and the “alarm” will come in some time after that. Learn more….
