Science fiction meets the 19th century Industrial Age today at the Railroad Museum. During the day (10AM-5PM), they’ll have steampunk vendors, performances by buskers, and of course, a steam-powered locomotive chugging around the grounds. Come in a steampunk costume, and they’ll give you 50% off museum admission. Should be lots of great photos ops. Dave Powers is going there this morning, so we should have some cool pictures posted later on. Tonight, they’re having a concert by Hydrogen Skyline, along with food trucks and craft beer. The gates open at 5:30, and the concert begins at 6:30.
Don’t forget the Farmers Market this morning from 8-1, Councilor Casey Brown at City Hall from 10-11, and Congressman Ed Perlmutter at Safeway from 10-12.
It’s going to be in the 90s, both today and tomorrow.
