As mentioned yesterday, February is Heart and Soul of Golden month, presented by the Golden Cultural Alliance. As part of this celebration, the Golden Visitors Center will be hosting a photo exhibit–“Golden by Golden.”
Do you have some photos of our home town that you want to show off? Bring them to the Visitors Center (1010 Washington Avenue – map) by January 31st, and they’ll be part of the exhibit! This isn’t a competition–just a chance for those of us who enjoy taking pictures of Golden to share them with the community. Please bring your photos in frames, if possible. We recommend that they be 5 x 7″ at a minimum, and ask that you limit your contributions to 5 or fewer photos. Questions? Call Mary Gomez at the Golden Visitors Center: 303-279-2282.
This afternoon from 4-5PM, the library is hosting Workshop Wednesday – Toy Hacks. This program invites tweens to take your craft skills to the next level at Golden Workshop Wednesdays! Once a month we create with a wide range of textile materials and learn new creative hands-on techniques in the process. Learn more….
Tomorrow (Thursday) from 2-3:30PM, the library is hosting E-Books on Your KindleE-books and Other (Free!) Downloadables from the Library.
