The Library will show you how to decorate your dishware using Sharpies in the DIY Lab, today from 5:30-7:30. Spruce up basic dishware with sharpie designs. Draw, bake, and enjoy! Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult as it is a mostly self-directed program.
The Downtown Development Authority meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. A new business, Boushie Built and Blend at 1275 Washington Avenue, is asking for a $2100 grant to help purchase a sign. Foothills Art Center will request a $12,000 grant to help pay for newsletters. City staff recommends that the Foothills grant be refused. See the meeting packet for more information.

Know someone who needs a job? Tomorrow night (Tuesday the 28th), Sodexo will hold a hiring event from 6-7:30 at the American Job Center, Laramie Building, 3500 Illinois Street (map). They’re looking for Cooks, Cashiers, Utility, Dishwashers, Food Service Workers, Catering/Banquet Servers, Bartenders and many more positions at the School of Mines and several other Denver metro locations.
