From 9-11 this morning, the City is giving tours of the property that we’ve purchased in the Goosetown neighborhood. This includes the Coors office building and some of the Clear Creek Corridor.
This is the second of three weekends for the Olde Golden Christmas festivities downtown. I hope you get a chance to enjoy them! The parade starts at 11.
If you–or your kids–like arts and crafts, this is your lucky day. From 10AM-2PM, Foothills Art Center is offering a crafts workshop for kids. This is open to members only. From 10AM-2PM, the Lookout Mountain Nature Center is hosting “Nature’s Gift” (nature-related holiday crafts). From 12-4, you can buy the crafts produced by the Community Center’s Pottery Studio. Those artists will be selling their pottery at Foothills Animal Shelter, and a portion of each sale goes to support the Shelter. Stop by Foothills Art Center between 2 and 5PM to watch the Holiday Art Mart artists demonstrate their craft. Tomorrow from 12-4PM, Dinosaur Ridge will be hosting “Cretaceous Crafts” (winter-themed dinosaur crafts).
