This is the last day of the CSM Geology Museum’s Fall Mineral, Book, and Fossil sale–which means it’s bargain day! They’ll be there from 10-4. 1310 Maple Street (map)
The Railroad Museum will have their Trick or Treat Train running again today, from 10-4. It’s full steam ahead for tricks, treats and trains at the Colorado Railroad Museum’s Trick or Treat Train. The Railroad Halloween Town is a safe place to enjoy Halloween. Catch a ride behind the historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume. The Trick or Treat Train departs every 30 minutes between 10:00AM and 4:00PM. Visit all the Town’s special stops to fill your treat bags and tickle your funny bones. Try a visit to our “not so spooky” haunted railcar or the Olde Railroaders silly graveyard. And, get a great picture of your costume as you pause in front of our Pumpkin Patch. Museum Members and children under 2 are free, $5 for children (2-15), $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (over 60).
Foothills Animal Shelter is having a Howl-O-Ween adoption special: $50 adoption fee for any dog or puppy in the place!
Colorado Haunted History is having a Murder, Mayhem, and Madness Tour tonight at 8:30.
Colorado School of Mines students will be out trick or treating tomorrow night, but instead of candy, they’re looking for non-perishable food items to contribute to the food pantry at the Christian Action Guild. The event is called “Trick or Treat So Golden Can Eat.” If you’re going to the grocery store today, pick up a few extra food items to contribute!
Tomorrow’s Halloween Crazy Days (downtown trick or treating) will run from 3-5 on Washington Avenue.
