The Epic Events Exhibit at the Golden History Center officially opens today. I saw a preview last night, and I’m looking forward to going back and studying it more closely–it’s really interesting! The Museum is open today from 10AM till 4:30PM.
The Buffalo Bill Museum is having a Western Roundup today from noon till 4PM. Meet Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley. Learn how a civil war cannon works. Shake hands with Native Americans and learn about their culture. These are just a few of the FREE activities you will be able to enjoy as we celebrate the end of another wonderful summer with Buffalo Bill’s Fall Roundup! Throughout the afternoon the Museum will highlight the skills and knowledge of our volunteers, provide craft and hands-on activities for kids, and offer an abundance of photo opportunities. The best part? Admission is free!
Drop by Golden Real Estate today between 9AM and 3:30PM to see Teslas, Volts, Leafs, Zero motorcycle, BMWs, Smart for Two, and electric battery electric vehicles.
PLAN Jeffco has an interesting program going this fall: In Plein Sight: Art in Open Air for Jeffco Open Spaces. From October 4th-8th, 27 artists will visit 5 different Open Space parks and paint some of Jefferson County’s most beautiful scenery. Saturday October 8th and Sunday October 9th, they’ll have an art show & sale at the Golden Community Center.
Tomorrow afternoon (Monday September 19th) at 5:30, there’s a free, public display of Greg & Sue Stevinson’s private collection of dramatic water colors, acrylics and oil paintings of Jefferson County Open Space Parks, illustrating different seasons of the year. The exhibit will remain open to the public through Oct. 9, 2016.
