Safety Academy, Writing Circle, Golden Beer Talk, and EDComm Tonight

The Library is hosting “Band Art” for teens today from 1-3PM. Let the music move you! Use your favorite musical genre or band to create an original work of band art. Instructors from the Lakewood Cultural Center help you turn that inspiration into a piece of art to take home. All supplies will be provided. Limit 25. Registration not required.

The Golden Safety Academy is scheduled from 6-8PM this evening in City Council Chambers. Tonight’s topic is Animal Safety. Participants must be over the age of 16, residents of Golden, and limit two people per household.

The Golden Writing Circle meets in the Library from 6-7:30. Do you want to start writing but have no idea where to begin? Do you have a manuscript you want some feedback on, or do you just need motivation? If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider attending one of our monthly meet-ups. This circle is open to all writers no matter skill level or writing interests. We offer feedback, critiquing, and general discussion. Rather than a class, we are a writing support circle—offering encouragement, inspiration, and motivation. Suitable for: Adults.
