Tomorrow night from 6-8, the City will host a meeting to discuss the Heritage Road reconstruction project. The construction firm, New Design Construction, will be presenting the project schedule, phasing plan, and traffic detours at the meeting. All are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at Shelton Elementary, 420 Crawford Street (map). The neighborhood has taken an active interest in this project amid concerns about “field engineering” and budget changes that sometimes occur after a road design has been approved.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday night to review a Site Plan Approval request for a dental office building at 2421 Ford Street–the site of a former coffee shop on the east side of the roundabout. They will also review the revised list of sidewalk and trail gaps in the City. This meeting will take place at 6:30 in City Council chambers, and will be broadcast live through the City’s Agenda, Minutes, Webcasts page.
