Restaurant changes and Engaged Objects

The Local Liquor Licensing Authority meets at 2:30 this afternoon (Weds the 23rd) in City Council chambers.  Toppings and More restaurant at 14799 6th Ave is being sold to “Citizen Thai Bistro.”  Marcelos Mexican Restaurant, currently located in the Canyon Point shopping area, plans to open a satellite restaurant in the old Elote’s Cafe location at 2600 East St.  Trailhead Taphouse & Kitchen, which plans to open on 12th Street in the location formerly occupied by the 5 Star Bakery, is applying for a new license.

Pho Golden is renewing their license.  The Courtyard Inn has filed a change of registered manager.  The 7-Eleven store to be built at 44th and McIntyre is applying for a new license.  Several restaurants and liquor stores are asking to pay fines rather than face suspension after serving liquor to a minor in January.  Learn more on the City website.

The Engaged Object exhibit at Foothills Art Center will close this Saturday, so if you haven’t seen it yet, don’t delay!  Foothills is open today through Saturday, 10-5.
