Red Scare on Sunset - Golden High School

Golden High School will be presenting “Red Scare at Sunset” Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights a 7PM.  From the brilliant mind of contemporary playwright Charles Busch comes a story recounting McCarthyism in the 1950s and all the ways it is actually incredibly relevant today. This satirical comedy follows the life of famous movie stars in Hollywood and forces the audience to choose who is the real villain as the characters do all they can to either push Communism in the USA or to weed out the pinkos in the movie making industry. Come find out who is really in control of the political agenda afoot in 1951 California!  Tickets – $5 – $7.  Presented by Stage Right Productions.  Golden High School Auditorium, 701 24th Street, Golden, CO (map).
