If you have little ones, head to the Railroad Museum this morning at 10 to join fellow young train enthusiasts for a morning of rail stories and make-and-take crafts. This month they’re reading Little Red Caboose. This event is free for Museum members and $2 for non-members with general admission.
The Library is hosting Lego Play & Build this afternoon at 4PM. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required.
The Library’s Tuesday Night Book Group meets tonight from 6-7. They will be discussing Redeployment by Phil Klay.
The Economic Development Commission meets tonight at 6:30 in the Planning Office, 1445 10th Street. This meeting was rescheduled from last week, and includes the same topics I listed then, including the Traxion Accelerator that EdComm is sponsoring; a CSM Golden Start-Up event to be held on 4/27; the Bell iSTEM program that EdComm supports; upcoming Economic Development Awards, and an NREL Tech Transfer event. The Parks & Recreation Board also meets tonight, at 7PM at the Community Center. They will discuss a possible solar array to be placed near the Rooney Road sports complex and review a draft of a citizen survey regarding the parks master plan.
