Tonight’s Golden Community Kayak Rodeo has been postponed again, because of high water. As their sponsor page says: “Due to high water levels and a fast current, the June 15th competition is being canceled. I can’t say I’m bummed. The kayaking is @#$% GREAT, so get off your Internet and get some.”
So with that in mind, maybe you should take a walk down by the creek tonight anyway!
The Library continues with their campaign to encourage creativity and productivity in Golden. Today’s DIY Kids (ages 6-11) is FULL, with no waiting list. Tomorrow (Thursday), they’ll have DIY Explorer (grades 6-12) from 4-5:30, followed by DIY Lab (all ages, but 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult) from 5:30-7:30.
