The Quilt Museum is hosting Sundays at the Museum this afternoon from 2-4PM. Jeananne Wright will present Quilts that Settled the West, tracing the westward movements of our country focusing on the Oregon Trail–quilts date from 1840–1870.
This is the final day for the Jefferson County Fair. If you haven’t visited yet, you’d better get on with it! You’ll see 4-H livestock projects, horticulture exhibitions, mutton bustin’, live music, a carnival, and lots more. They’ll have cowboy church from 11:30-12 in the Rodeo Arena, and Salutations and Libations Yoga in the expo plaza at noon. Speaking of libations…Golden’s own State-38 Distilling is the exclusive spirit sponsor of the Fair!
