The Quilt Museum is having Sunday at the Museum – Quilts Made of Paper today from 2-4PM. Jane Mathews is a multimedia artist who combines and transforms materials into her quilted works. Working with paper of all mediums, Jane uses her textile studies, Fine Arts background, love of international travel, and inspiration gleamed from her local environment to create paper quilts that show printer paper, junk mail, magazines, and other paper in colorful new light.
RMQM members admitted free. Nonmembers are $10/person. Admission includes museum admission and refreshments. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Program begins at 2:00 p.m. Reservations are helpful but not required. Please call 303-277-0377 and tell us you’re coming
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival is coming up next month, February 21-23rd. This afternoon, the Library is having a special viewing of the 2018 Best of Fest award-winning film, How We Grow. After that, they’ll show an extra sneak peak of three short films from the upcoming 2019 festival lineup. The viewing party is 1-3, and it’s free!
