The Quilt Museum will celebrate the opening of their new exhibit, Fabric Challenge and Paper Art Quilts of Jane Matthews from 6-8PM tonight. Tomorrow from 9:30-3:30 they’re offering a class on Free Motion Quilting.

The Colorado Mountain Club is holding their Fall Gear Sale tonight from 6-8PM at the Mountaineering Center. Join us for our fall Gear Swap. You will be sure to find some sweet deals on some gently used outdoor gear. Plus 15% – 20% of the purchase price goes back to the CMC and its great programs!

Saturday Preview:
Foothills Art Center will offer a class from 10AM-2PM tomorrow: Fearless Creating: Working with the Stages and Anxieties of the Creative Process. In this dynamic workshop, we will navigate Eric Maisel’s Six Stages of the Creative Process, the natural anxieties that accompany those stages, and ways to manage the things that keep us from being creative. How do we feed our creative desire? Create in the midst of our busy lives and establish an ongoing creative practice? Summon up our courage to create, despite our doubts and judgments? Through hands-on activities, we will explore ways to encourage, enrich, and empower creativity in our lives. Non member $65 / Member $50 Register.
