Tonight at 6PM, the Golden Library will host a meeting about gold prospecting.
Gold Prospectors of the Rockies will present a short history and overview of gold prospecting in Colorado. They’ll also cover the equipment needed for prospecting and a demonstration of how the equipment works, starting costs and prospecting sites. Audience questions will be taken at the end of the program. Gold Prospectors of the Rockies is a non-profit Metro Area prospecting club.
By the way, Clear Creek is dangerously high right now, and closed to swimmers, waders, and tubers. This would not be the time to try gold panning!
