Bent Gate has a free program tonight from 6-7 featuring Jeff Garmine, who will talk about his long distance hiking adventures. In 2016, Jeff hiked the Calendar Triple Crown—Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail, all in one year.
Water levels permitting, Golden River Sports will host a demo night on Clear Creek tonight, from 5:30-8. They’ll have kayaks and SUP boards available to try. Should be a wild night!
The City will host a meeting for the School of Mines to discuss their plans with neighbors in the surrounding neighborhoods. 5:30-7 at the Golden Community Center.
The Goosetown Events Center (514 9th St. – map) is offering an evening of wellness tonight, including free chiropractic consultations and spinal screenings starting at 6, a Vinyasa Flow yoga class at 6:30, and appetizers and wine afterwards.
The Jeffco Innovators Workshop will host Robbie Gries, the author of Anomalies: Pioneering Women in Petroleum Geology. They’ll be in City Council Chambers, starting at 6:30.
