The Denver Postcard Show is happening this weekend at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (map). You’ll find thousands of antique and collectible postcards but also trade cards, stereoview cards, photographs and other paper memorabilia. Food is available on site and there is plenty of free parking. They’re open today and tomorrow from 10-7.
Councilor Casey Brown will have Coffee with a Councilor tomorrow morning at 10 at City Hall. This is a great opportunity to bring up issues concerning you that are happening in Golden and the north neighborhoods in particular.
Jefferson County Open Space will have an Education Station about SNAKES set up at Apex Park tomorrow morning. Stop by anytime between 9 and 10 to see a bullsnake up close and personal. We don’t have to love snakes but maybe after learning a little bit about them you will have a greater respect for them and how they contribute to Jefferson County Open Space’s healthy ecosystem.
