This season’s Polar Express starts on Thursday and they’re nearly sold out already!  They need volunteers, so you can help create the magic.  If you can help, contact Carolyn@crrm.org!

Tonight from 6-7, the Library is hosting Discovering Your Wellness:  Managing Holiday Stress.  Coaches Glitz and Susan of Uninhibited Wellness will present ways of reducing the many stressors that seem to be all too common in our lives during the holiday season. We’ll discuss methods of navigating the pressures of holiday eating, gift buying, family gatherings, and parties to rekindle the fire and warmth to which the holiday season should be dedicated. Come and share your stories with us and find solutions that will keep your spirits high through the New Year! Open to the public.

Bent Gate is hosting a FREE Avalanche awareness classroom clinic tomorrow night (11/9) from 6-7:30, covering topics such as identifying hazards, observing weather, terrain and snowfall, and self-rescue. This class is a perfect introduction for novices and also a great early season refresher for more experienced BC travelers. The class is open to the public and FREE of charge. No registration is required.
