Two of our museums will be holding open-night receptions tomorrow (Friday) night. Both will be offering free admission and free food and drink. This is a great opportunity to see the new exhibits at two museums in one evening for free!
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is opening “Surface Design – hand dyeing, painting, and stamping.” New acquisitions from the Anne Olson Collection will also be on display. The reception will run from 5-8PM.
The Golden History Center is opening their “Face to Face” exhibit, a celebration of the Museum’s 75th birthday. Meet 15 legendary people of Golden, through larger-than-life portraits. Many of the legends themselves will be on-hand! Members of the Jefferson Symphony will be performing classical music during the reception, which lasts from 5:30-8.
