Physics, innovation, and planning

Don’t forget tonight’s Golden Beer Talk–Windy Saddle at 6:30.  We’ll be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the theory of relativity and enjoying Golden City Brewery beer.

Tomorrow night (Wednesday the 13th), the Jeffco Innovators Workshop will host Randall Tagg, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Colorado Denver.  Dr. Tagg will encourage us to “Create – Invent – Explore – A Science & Engineering Lab for Everyone!”  Learn more and sign up to attend.

I left one meeting out of yesterday’s post:  Wednesday night (the 13th), the City will host an open house to discuss the plan for the “North Clear Creek Neighborhood.”  This area includes approximately the 8th & 9th Street Historic District and the Goosetown neighborhood–everything north of the Creek, but south of Highway 58.  The open house will run from 5:30-7PM at the Community Center.  Learn more on the city website.  (Thanks to alert reader Whitney Painter for reminding me about this one!)
