For millions of people all over the world, this larger-than-life figure was able to create an image of what the “Wild West” was really like. OLLI West starts their spring session next week, and most of the classes still have some openings. If you’re 50 or older, you’re eligible to learn things ranging from short fiction writing to theoretical physics. A single $100 membership fee entitles you to take as many classes as you like. The Jeffco Action Center will hold their semi-annual Beautiful Junk Sale tomorrow and Saturday from 8-4 at the Jeffco Fairgrounds. General admission is $3, but if you bring two or more non-perishable food items, you’ll receive $1 off admission. Most items are less than $10, and 100% of the proceeds go toward food, shelter and vital services to those in need.
