Peaches, Fabric, Theater, and Warrior Cats

Golden Rotary Peaches

If you ordered peaches from the Golden Rotary Club, TODAY IS THE DAY to collect them!  The club will be at the Jeffco Fairgrounds (map) from 8AM-2PM.  If you failed to order them ahead of time, get to the fairground early, because they always order a few extra boxes.

The Quilt Museum is having their annual GARAGE SALE today.  This is the sale quilters and crafters wait for all year! Score amazing bargains on new and gently used fabric, thread, patterns, vintage items, collectibles, and what-have-you!  The sale will last from 9AM-2:30PM at 200 Violet Street, Suite 150, Golden, CO (map).

The School of Mines Little Theater Group will perform American Iliad, a half-hour long comedy, at noon and again at 4PM at the Clear Creek History Park.  If you can’t make it today, plan to go tomorrow at the same times.  It’s FREE!

At 1 o’clock, the Library invites teens to play the Warrior Cats Tabletop Role-Playing Game Adventure with other fans of Erin Hunter’s popular Warrior Cats book series. A group of kits has snuck away from the Queens that were watching them. Every available warrior has been sent out to look for them, but we need your help too! Create your own character, and help save the missing kits.

The Golden Gran Fondo bike race will be happening tomorrow.  Most of the race takes place outside of Golden, so the only road closure will be  Washington Avenue between 11th and 12th from 7:45 am – 8:15 am for the start of the race.

Also tomorrow–plan to eat at Bob’s Atomic Burgers!  They’re hosting a fund-raiser to support Pleasant View Elementary.
