Golden’s struggle to keep a beltway from bisecting our town requires great patience and persistence. As we wrote last week, Jefferson County is considering a plan that would allow large scale commercial and residential development along Highwy 93, between Golden and Boulder. This proposed urban sprawl would be used to help justify the beltway.
