Washington Avenue will be closed down this evening for the Mopar Big Block Party. This is the kick-off for the Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway. They’ll have live music, Mopar race cars, special display vehicles, driver autograph sessions, Mopar product demonstrations, and much more. The public is invited and the party will run from 6-10.
The Library’s DIY Lab will be open from 5:30-7:30, so drop by if you’re feeling creative and want to use their tools.
I misled you yesterday, saying that the Library Board would be meeting yesterday. In fact, they’re meeting tonight (Thursday), at the Golden Library, from 5:30-8. (Thanks, Tommy Atkins, for the correction.) The Board rotates through the various Jeffco libraries for their monthly meetings.
