Do you feel like you have too much stuff? We’ve just started a Facebook group called “Golden Colorado Online Yard Sale.” It’s designed to be a free, safe way to advertise items you want to be rid of. Post items for sale or for free–it’s up to you. If people want your item, they contact you through a Facebook message, and the two of you arrange the exchange. Similar pages have been very popular in other communities, so let’s try it in Golden! The Facebook group is www.facebook.com/groups/goldenonlinegaragesale.
Incidentally, if you’re in a hurry to get rid of stuff, you can always take it to Goodwill at 17722 S. Golden Road (303-271-9991). Goodwill is open from 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday, and 10-6 on Sunday. ARC now has a drop-off location too, at 2600 East Street. They’re open from 8-6 daily.
