The Golden Bicycle Cruise is tonight at 6:30, in the parking lot west of the Library (10th & Illinois). Tonight’s theme is Cavemen.
There will be a panel discussion from 6-8 tonight at the Community Center, as part of our 2013 One Book One Golden program. Members of Golden’s faith community will discuss the controversial sermon given by Reverend Lyle in Benediction. Free tickets to this event are available on the library’s website.
We hope you can also attend the “Picture Golden” reception this Sunday at 2PM at the library. There will be some beautiful photos of Golden!
Finally, make sure you get tickets (which are free) to hear author Kent Haruf read from Benediction, sign books, and answer questions. He will be at the Mountaineering Center next Wednesday (Oct. 2). Tickets are required, but they are free.
