Come downtown this morning for the final Olde Golden Christmas parade of the year! The parade starts at 11 AM at 10th and Washington and ends at 13th and Washington. Hang around after the parade to finish your Christmas shopping, take a carriage ride, and enjoy the Victorian carolers. If you have little ones, let them take a ride in a cart drawn by a Newfoundland dog, and visit Santa at Avenue Gifts.
Barb Warden will be at Baby Doe’s (1116 Washington) between 11:30 and 2, signing copies of Olde Golden Christmas. (Remember–it’s the perfect gift for anyone who loves Golden…including yourself!)
Today is also the last Santa Special train of the year at the Railroad Museum. Meet Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, and ride around the museum grounds in antique passenger cars.
