There’s a lot going on in town today! There will be a parade on Washington Avenue at 10:30. Afterwards, there will be Newfoundland Dog Cart rides and Golden Hayrides from noon till 3.
After the parade, head to Avenue Gifts (1212 Washington Ave.). One of Santa’s Helpers will be there, and she’ll be giving small gifts to children!
Parents can bring their kids to Foothills Art Center to make holiday cards while the parents shop at the Holiday Art Market. The card workshop is open from 11-3 and the cost is $8 for non-members and $5 for members.
Miners Alley Children’s Theater is showing The Story of the Nutcracker at 1, and Miners Alley (adult) Theater will perform the comedic version of A Christmas Carol at 7:30.
Dinosaur Ridge is having an ornament-decorating party from 1-4. Drop in at your convenience. It’s free!
Golden High School will have their 3rd Annual Craft Bazaar today from 10-3. Complete all of your holiday shopping in one spot while supporting a good cause. The bazaar is a great place for you to find all kinds of gifts for everyone on your list – large and small items, gifts for the home, gifts of food and snacks. The event helps support the Golden High School PTA. Free parking and admission. They’ll have over 60 vendors and 70 tables full of a wide variety of goods. The Library is hosting Teens After Dark at 6. They’ll be watching Krampus–a creepy Christmas movie!
The Jefferson Symphony will perform their very popular holiday concert tonight at 7PM at the Green Center.
