Happy Anniversary to the Golden Transcript, which issued its first edition 153 years ago today!

6PM The Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board meets this evening in City Council Chambers. They will discuss the planned redesign of 8th Street, designs for traffic calming, and and upcoming projects for the intersection at Heritage Road & US6 and the “complete streets” project on Colfax. They will also discuss the Transportation Master Plan and the input they received from the Planning Commission meeting. They will conclude with a review of the goals they had for 2019 and those they’ve set for 2020. See the meeting packet for more information.

This is the final city meeting of the year. Whatever will I write about next week?

Here’s another reason to shop at the Holiday Art Market at Foothills Art Center: from now through December 29th, you can take your HART receipt over to Sherpa House and get $5 off lunch or $10 off dinner. And also…this is the last day for their 50/50/50 promotion: their 50th customer will receive $50 off their purchase of $50 or more. They’re open today from 10AM-5PM.
