The Friends of the CSM Geology Museum are starting their fall lecture series tonight, with “Geochemistry And Mineralogy Of Rare Element-Enriched Pegmatites In A-Type Granites Of Colorado: An Overview Of Occurrences And Research” by Philip Persson. Meet in the Museum’s Conference Room (201). Socializing and munchies begin at 6:00 p.m.; the talk will start at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free, and all are welcome! These lectures will continue through the school year, every First Thursday.
Tomorrow night is the last First Friday Street Fair for 2015. The party runs from 5-9, and the Funk it Up Band will be playing.
