This will be a VERY artsy week in Golden. In fact, it’s ARTSWEEK GOLDEN. Here’s what you can expect:
This morning at 9, the Open Studio Group from Foothills Art Center will pick up their canvases at the Golden History Park, then spread out and start painting “en plein air” (that’s “outside” to the rest of us). They’ll have a show and judging at Foothills Art Center on Thursday. Can’t wait to see what they come up with!
Monday
Check out the downtown sculptures, because the Ladies Fancywork Society will be yarn-bombing them.
Tuesday
Enjoy a Luau (and the Hawaiian quilts!) at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.
