National Night Out is a crime/drug prevention event held in communities nationwide. In Golden’s case, it’s a party in Parfet Park, hosted by the police department. It’s a chance to meet Golden’s police officers and enjoy food, beverages, raffle prizes, games for the kids, and live entertainment. Parfet Park, 10th & Washington, from 5 to 8 PM.
Attention inventors and innovators. You should plan to participate in the upcoming Jeffco Innovation Faire, which will be September 13th & 14th. The Faire will feature exhibits, live demos, meetup resource pavilion, seminars, food trucks, live entertainment, and awards for most creative, best technical achievement, and most likely to succeed in high school, college, and startup categories. The audience is the media, general public including technology enthusiasts and hobbyists, budding scientists and inventors/innovators, investors, bankers, analysts, business service providers, students, instructors, government and military representatives and policymakers, state and local officials, engineers, manufacturing company associates, job recruiters, industrial and office space leasing agents, and more. Exhibiting at the Faire is an excellent opportunity for startups and established firms to reach new customers, get valuable feedback on new products and product ideas, and inform the public about your business or organization.
