The Golden Police Department posted the above video yesterday, just in time to remind you how cool they are, and to entice you to tonight’s National Night Out.
Join your neighbors and the Golden police for a fun, family event that brings citizens and law enforcement together in a partnership to form a stronger and safer community. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and generate discussion, education, support and participation in crime prevention efforts.
So lock your doors, turn on your porch lights and come out to enjoy free food, entertainment, interactive displays and the always popular landing of the Flight for Life helicopter. In addition to all the cool things to see, do and learn, you will have a chance to win a free gun safe! Among the many raffle prizes available that evening, we will give away several gun safes to help make any household just a little bit safer. Gun locks will also be given away. We hope to see you there!
They’ll be in Parfet Park from 5-8PM this evening.
