About the Artist: Topher Straus
Artist Topher Straus is a Colorado born, New York trained fine artist,who sells internationally and has had his work is featured in numerous art galleries. Topher is known for his uplifting color combinations and imaginative concepts. He creates his compositions using his unique blend of photography with digital painting that is printed onto transfer paper then applied to large sheets of aluminum. The pictures are then finished off with a transparent acrylic resin to create a wet looking surface.

6:30PM City Council has a study session tonight in City Council Chambers. The will review a draft of a Boards and Commissions Manual, designed to provide support, guidance and consistency across boards and commissions to help them be prepared to serve and understand city structure, policies, responsibilities and expectations. The will also review a new Crosswalk Policy Manual, which the Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board has been developing. Chief Welch will provide an update on the state of the Fire Department. The growth of the city and rising number of calls in Clear Creek Canyon are straining the capacity of our largely volunteer Fire Department, so they are looking into ways to deal with that.
